Why the name Kulturoj?
Kulturoj is an actual word that carries a great deal of meaning for our mission. Kulturoj is a word meaning "cultures" in Esperanto. Esperanto is a constructed language that was designed as an international language intended to foster harmony between people from different nations by giving them a common platform through which to communicate with understanding. In English, the word "Esperanto" itself translates roughly as "one who hopes." As such, "kulturoj" perfectly encapsulates our mission to enable people from diverse cultures and subcultures to connect and successfully do business together.
Meet the Person Who Started Kulturoj
James Ginn
James has lived in five countries on three continents and has visited 42 nations while studying cultures around the world. He possesses a Masters in International Management and Intercultural Communication obtained in Europe, an MBA obtained in the United States, and has studied at universities in four countries including China. Prior to consulting, James ran a top-rated radio station in his early days. He went on to become a journalist and covered NFL sports before and even while directing the public relations departments for several government entities. After relocating to Canada, he ran the correspondence department for a Canadian non-profit and directed leadership clubs with members from ten nationalities. He has also worked in finance and holds securities licenses and understands the financial and investment needs of companies and that consulting services need to have a positive impact on the bottom-line.
